Chris Miller, 2008 - 2012

Board Member

Family: I have been a resident of Los Gatos my entire life and I currently reside in the house in which I grew up.

Education: I attended public schools in Los Gatos, including: Daves Avenue Elementary School, Fisher Middle School, and Los Gatos High School. I went on to receive a Bachelors Degree in History, a Teaching Credential, and a Masters Degree in Education, and a Masters Degree in Pastoral Ministries, all at Santa Clara University. I am currently working on a post-masters degree at Boston College.

Community Service: I am extensively involved in the community, currently serving as Board President of the Los Gatos High School Alumni Association, a board member for the Los Gatos Youth Park, and the Youth Chairperson for the Los Gatos Morning Rotary. I am also the Board Representative for the Santa Clara County School Board Association and co-chair of the Hoffmann Awards Program.

Profession: I am a currently teaching 7th and 8th grade history and religion at a school in Gilroy. I also taught 6th grade history, math, and religion at a school in San Jose and I was the Director of Youth Ministry at a Parish in Palo Alto for two years.
