eMail Tina Orsi-HartiganFamily: I moved to Los Gatos in 1967 with my parents. After college, I lived in San Jose for many years and returned to Los Gatos in 1988. My husband, Jim Hartigan and I have a son who attended Blossom Hill School, Fisher Middle School and is currently a freshman at Loyola Marymont University in Los Angeles.
Education: I attended public schools in several California cities and graduated from Los Gatos High School. I received a BA in Languages from the University of California at Davis.
Community Service: After many years in sales and management, I have chosen to spend the past nineteen years in volunteer service. While an elementary school parent, I volunteered in the classroom, on the Home and School Club Boards, on the LGEF Board and as a school parcel tax campaign chairperson. I was the Home and School Club president at Los Gatos High School for three years and continue to volunteer in the High School Guidance Department. I am a member of the New Millennium Foundation Board and of the Rotary Club of Los Gatos.
Board Responsibilities: I have served on the Board of Trustees since February 2001. During my eight years on the Board, I have been a Board Representative to the Parcel Tax Appeal Committee, District Budget Advisory Committee, Citizen’s Bond Oversight Committee, E2 Steering Committee, Arts Action Team, Bond Election Steering Committee and 2002 Parcel Tax Election Steering Committee. I served two terms as President of the Board of Trustees and as the Board Clerk.
